How we build a case · The analyst team
A single qui tam matter can arrive as thousands of pages — internal emails, billing records, spreadsheets, contracts, and files a client has photographed a page at a time. Somebody has to read all of it, understand what it actually shows, and connect it to the law that will govern the case.

That is where most of the real work sits, and it is work that cannot be skimmed.
We recruit law students from Boston College Law School and Boston University, and select them for prior analytical work in various fields. Each is then trained here, carefully, in our methods, to do four things.
The source material closely, without skipping.
What it shows and what it does not show.
It into a record that can be worked with, rather than a pile that has to be re-read.
It to the governing caselaw and to the specific elements we will have to establish.
Every file is then reviewed and independently re-analyzed, carefully, by both Rea Kasemi, Esq. and Jeffrey Newman, Esq. before it goes anywhere. What we present to the government reflects our own judgment as counsel, built on the foundation the analysts lay.
A whistleblower usually comes to us having already noticed something wrong. What they need is someone willing to go through the evidence page by page and show, in a form the government can act on, word by word, exactly what the evidence proves.
Two new analyst positions, also filled by law students, are being added.
To work the numbers directly — billing patterns, statistical sampling, and financial-statement screens.
To apply AI tools to very large sets of documents under attorney direction, so that human review is focused where it counts rather than spread thin.
We expect both roles to become permanent.
Every analyst works under direct attorney supervision and is bound by the same duty of confidentiality that governs our attorneys. Client materials and the identity of any whistleblower are protected accordingly.
