Huawei Technologies of China is about to introduce a new chip for artificial intelligence use. It is called Ascend 910C abd according to reports Huawei believes it is comparable to Nvidi’as H100 which is not being allowed to be sold to China based on concerns it will be used for military advantages.
TikTok parent ByteDance, search-engineBaidu and state-owned telecommunications carrier China Mobile are in early discussions to obtain the 910C.
Washington considers Huawei a national-security threat.
