Silicon Valley Venture firms halting investments in Chinese companies given rising Chinese surveillance and cyberwarfare on U.S.

Silicon Valley venture capital firms and pulling out of investments in China given the rising tensions between the U.S. and China and China’s increased cyberwarfare on US infrastructures as well as its spiked increase in surveillance and military buildup. GGV Capital is another venture capital firm which announced in September that is is separating its American and Asian operations and it is also seeking to sell its holding in two companies in China thought to be assisting the Chinese military.
