Chinese jets intercept Canadian air force plan tracking North Korean ships

According toi CBS news reports, a Canadian military aircraft over the East China Sea, tracking North Korean ships engaged in illegal trade was intercepted by a Chinese supersonic fighter jet which approached the Canadian plane. The jet then tracked the Canadian plane for another 30 minutes.

Three hours later another Chinese jet appeared this time carrying misslies and flew less than 200 feet from the Canadian plane.

The Canadian plane was invlved in Operation NEON, an intelligence gathering mission in which photos and veideos are taken of syspicious vessels in the East China Sea and shares them with the United Nations.
