The U.S. has now identified Chinese businesses as aiding Beijing’s military and has designated around two dozen including tech giants Alibaba Group and Baidu, limiting their operations in America. The additions include Chinese consumer and tech companies, including electric carmaker BYD, pharmaceutical firm WuXi AppTec and humanoid robotics company Unitree.
Alibaba is a Chinese conglomerate with e-commerce and cloud computing, while Baidu is a Chinese internet search and artificial intelligence company.
Companies on the list are barred from doing business with the U.S. military.d other businesses in the U.S.
